Global Commercial Director

Goal: To be promoted to Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)

To stimulate our next phase of growth, Lalaland is looking for a strong Global Commercial Director to oversee the entirety of Lalaland’s commercial engine. You will focus on building the sales & growth marketing team from scratch (alongside a budget and full autonomy). As a data-driven organisation, we expect you to complement your experience and professional intuition with hard data and customer feedback to spearhead revenue growth while maintaining a healthy cost structure.

As our Global Commercial Director you will define and drive the commercial vision for the next growth phase, This role will play an integral role in the management and leadership team and be a strong part of our culture. 

The Role:

Your task is primarily growing revenue. In order to do so there needs to be a good product fit, along with aggressive marketing. Taking into account these three parts (sales, marketing, growth) all play equal parts. Rapid experimentation is a must. Identify, analyze and implement the best channels for sales and marketing. 

Conceptualize new commercial strategies using data driven frameworks. Build and constantly improve the entire funnel: Awareness, Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral, Revenue. Track, analyze, and monitor commercial performance metrics. 20% of this time spent on Strategizing and 80% of this time spent on Implementing the strategies.

Must Have:

  • Proven track record of building a commercial engine ground-up to at least 5million+ digital revenue. 
  • Past Experience in commercializing B2B Software.
  • Financial and commercial acumen.


  • Experience, network, and knowledge in Digital Fashion / Fashion eCommerce / Visual Merchandising.
